Soldiers may be able to get their hands on new vehicles, weapons, and uniforms before the end of the year. Some of the equipment has already been delivered to Army troops and will continue to be delivered in 2022. This year, all of the other equipment will be spanking new. The Kentucky National Guard was the first to receive equipment for the Army's new Combat Fitness Test in December 2019. More than 1,500 of the sets, which comprise bumper plates, barbells, medicine balls, and a nylon sled with straps, have been issued by the Army since then.
